The following are web sites I’ve seen that look very interesting and have potential for my NodeCentral set up, so i try to go back and look every now and again to see how they’re progressing.

Heating

This project comprises Perl scripts for communicating with the iPhone interface of Heatmiser WiFi thermostats, and a web interface for generating charts of temperature, heating and hot water activity.

Automation

MiCasaVerde Vera is a z-wave controller that is aimed more at the mainstream than the high end (top 1%) earners. It’s relatively straight forward to set up but if you are not keen on playing around with some code this is not one for you (unfortunately) 😦

Media Software

I’m a fan of open source media players that can work with our NodeCentral set ups and be flexible to the variety of media files types out there.
